Besta Bode

Besta Bode were formed by Jonathan Saldanha and Filipe Silva to sail the darkened waters where grindcore, doom metal and math rock all meet, becoming sonically what already as been described as Psychic-Death. Subsequently the bass player Rui Leal joined the line-up.

Their drumless line-up makes for an oppressive and dehumanised sound, with tight blocks of rhythm clashing with angular organ, bass and guitar riffs and trash voices.

Thematically, Besta Bode draw inspiration from a number of sources of disquiet and agitation, like the impact and wanders of numerology on the mind, and states of mixed animal/human consciousness, such as the Viking warriors' Berserkergang fury.
