HHY & The Macumbas

With their debut release almost hitting the streets, HHY & The Macumbas appeared at Festival Trama in Porto for a dive into the depths of sonic voodoo. Sporting matching outfits, and including for the first time Henrique Fernandes (bass) and André Rocha (trumpet), along regular member João Filipe (drums) and composer and mentor Jonathan Saldanha/HHY (electronics, dub and percussion), the band sent large seismic waves of bass, rhythm and audio phantasmagoria into the enthusiastic audience's consciousness.
